How to Edit Property Manager Notification Settings


This help article explains how to edit property manager notification settings in MagicDoor.

Inside, you'll find:

  • Where to access property manager profiles from the main menu
  • How to open notification settings for an individual property manager
  • How to update and save notification preferences

Use this article as a reference when onboarding new team members or adjusting which alerts a property manager receives.

Step 1: Navigate to Property Managers

Start by opening the user management section.

  • From the left-side navigation, select Users
  • Select Property Managers
  • You'll see a list of all property managers on your account

Step 2: Select a Property Manager

Choose the property manager whose notifications you want to edit.

  • Click on the property manager's name
  • Their profile will open, showing:
    • Permissions
    • Portfolio / property access

Step 3: Edit Notification Settings

Update notification preferences for that property manager.

  • Click the Edit icon
  • Select Property Manager Information & Notification Settings
  • Adjust notification settings as needed for that user

Step 4: Save Changes

  • Click Update Property Manager to save your changes

The updated notification settings will take effect immediately.
