How to View Unfinished Rental Applications


This help article explains how to view unfinished rental applications in MagicDoor.

Inside, you'll find:

  • Where to access rental applications from the main menu
  • How to view submitted applications
  • How to view unfinished draft applications
  • How to review applicant information and communicate with applicants

Use this article as a reference when following up with applicants who have not yet completed their rental application.

Step 1: Navigate to Rental Applications

Start by opening the rental applications section.

  • From the left-side navigation, select Leasing
  • Select Rental Applications

Step 2: View Submitted Applications

Submitted applications are shown by default.

  • The Submitted tab displays all completed rental applications
  • Click on any application to review the submitted information

Step 3: View Unfinished Applications

To see applications still in progress:

  • Click the Unfinished tab at the top
  • This view shows all draft rental applications that have not yet been submitted

Step 4: Review and Communicate With Applicants

Open any submitted or unfinished application to:

  • View the information the applicant has already entered
  • Communicate directly with the applicant from the application view
